The Silver Slipper was the first casino to be shut down on cheating charges. Then, purchased by Howard Hughes who shut off the rotating slipper so it couldn’t spy on him. 😮
Thank goodness this sparkly bit of history was saved...even though the building has returned back to the desert dust.
